Basket decorated with a simple Greek fret. The simple Greek fret (meander) is an ancient decoration pattern. Castelsardo local name: Caneltredda. It is made of rough raffia with a bronze colour raffia decoration (bronze colour is obtained from iron oxide). The weaving technique is spiral twined coiling; the warp is made of seagrass, and the weft of rough raffia.  Dimensions: base diameter 28 cm; top diameter 33 cm.
