No. 39. Canestro (basket), local name canilstrhedda. Container for foodstuffs. Of a truncated conical form with low straight sides that flare outwards. Materials used are dwarf palm and sea hay. Decorated with phytomorphic motifs.

No. 42. Canestro (basket), local name canelstrhedda, dating from 1940/41. Container for foodstuffs. Woven with fixed stitch technique using a needle with weft of dwarf palm, warp of sea hay and decorated on the base with zoomorphic motifs featuring lapwings in dyed natural raffia.

Woven with fixed stitch technique using a needle with weft of dwarf palm, warp of sea hay and decorations in dyed dwarf palm. Decorated with geometric and phytomorphic motifs featuring flowers on stems with leaves.
