Twisted stitch with knot fastening
Material: a bunch of sea hay or reeds, dried and rehydrated.
Stitch: an imbodigadura a nou, using a large needle with a knot fastening between one coil and the next that creates a fretwork effect on the whole piece.
Fixed stitch
Material: a bunch of sea hay, reeds or wheat culms, dried and rehydrated.
Stitch: with a needle or a metal punch using dwarf palm leaves, or light and dark strips of fiber obtained from asphodel stems. The work progresses stitch by stitch.
