The twisted stitch technique presents the same characteristics as that of San Vero Milis. It is a different story for the spiral technique with a fixed stitch, which follows the coiling technique using a metal punch and thin strips of reed that have been previously sectioned and deprived of the internal medulla. The work progresses stitch by stitch.
Material: a bunch of asphodel strips dried and rehydrated
Stitch: with a bone punch obtained from the shank of an animal, using light and dark strips of fiber obtained from asphodel stems. The work progresses stitch by stitch.
